Digital Trading/ E-Commerce Assistant - Retail Fashion Sector

A leading regional retail company is seeking a Digital Trading/E-commerce Assistant to join their growing digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business expanding its presence across regional and international digital channels for our fashion and home furnishing brands.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product readiness across all online platforms, supporting digital merchandising, site updates, and promotional activity. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive commercial performance, optimize the online customer experience, and support the wider eCommerce trading strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure full product readiness across owned and third-party digital channels (imagery, copy, translations, attributes).Manage timely product uploads and updates in line with trading calendars.Maintain accurate product categorization, merchandising, and on-site presentation aligned with commercial strategy.Oversee product lifecycle updates, including removal of discontinued items.Support cross-sell, up-sell, and product sorting strategies to improve conversion.Optimize on-site search and product discoverability (keywords, taxonomy, filters, placement).Publish and maintain site content across homepage, category, and static pages.Conduct daily site checks to ensure accuracy of assortments, content, pricing, and promotions.Analyze site performance, customer behavior, and competitor activity to inform decisions.Identify trading opportunities based on stock levels, conversion, and demand.Prepare weekly and ad-hoc trading reports with insights and recommendations.Contribute to wider merchandising and trading projects, taking ownership of deliverables.Present actionable insights and trend analysis to the commercial team.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree2+ years of experience in retail merchandising or eCommerceProficiency in English (written and spoken)Key SkillsProficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent planning, organization, and time-management abilitiesHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and qualityStrong written and verbal communication skillsCollaborative team player with the ability to work independently📩 If you’re passionate about digital commerce and want to be part of a dynamic team driving growth across fashion and home furnishing brands, apply today!
