Apply & track with Apply EdgeDigital Transformation Manager – AI & Technology ConsultancyLocation: Remote-first, with approximately one day per week in Central LondonThe OpportunityA fast-growing AI and technology consultancy is looking for an experienced Digital Transformation Manager to lead client engagements, develop existing accounts and maximise the performance of a growing consulting team.This is a senior, client-facing consulting position. It is not a purely technical, programme-delivery or internal transformation role.You must have significant experience delivering IT or technology transformation within a consultancy, Microsoft Partner, systems integrator or comparable professional services environment.You’ll need to understand what excellent consulting looks like: leading discovery, advising senior stakeholders, creating credible business cases, connecting technology to measurable outcomes and ensuring clients continue to see value from their investment.You’ll also lead and develop a team of consultants and engineers, including junior talent progressing through the company’s internal academy.What You’ll Be DoingLead Transformation EngagementsTake ownership of technology transformation engagements from discovery through to delivery.Work with senior stakeholders to understand their organisation, challenges and transformation priorities.Translate technology capabilities into clear strategies, roadmaps, business cases and measurable outcomes.Help clients understand what they should invest in, why it matters and how it will benefit their organisation.Provide credible advice and constructive challenge to senior decision-makers.Ensure engagements deliver meaningful business value rather than simply meeting technical milestones.Maintain high consulting standards across discovery, governance, delivery and stakeholder communication.Maximise Existing Client AccountsBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the existing client base.Understand each client’s wider business priorities and transformation objectives.Ensure clients can clearly see the value and outcomes being delivered.Identify opportunities for follow-on projects, expanded engagements and longer-term partnerships.Work alongside the CRO and leadership team on account planning, forecasting and commercial priorities.Balance excellent client outcomes with strong commercial awareness.This is not a new-business sales role. You will not be expected to bring a network of prospects or personally win new clients. However, you must understand how a consultancy operates commercially and how strong delivery can create further opportunities within existing accounts.Lead and Develop the TeamLead, coach and mentor a growing team of consultants and engineers.Set clear standards for consulting quality, client ownership and delivery.Help junior consultants understand the wider business value behind the technology they are delivering.Develop the team’s discovery, advisory, stakeholder-management and commercial skills.Improve structure, accountability and consistency across client engagements.Support junior talent progressing through the company’s internal AI Academy.Act as a senior escalation point for complex client and delivery challenges.Help shape the consultancy’s delivery methodology and ways of working.The Technology EnvironmentThe consultancy delivers transformation initiatives across areas including:Artificial intelligence and AI-enabled solutionsMicrosoft Power PlatformMicrosoft CopilotMicrosoft AzureAI agents and automationMicrosoft 365AI governance, adoption and organisational changeYou do not need to be a hands-on developer or a specialist across every technology. However, you must be technically credible and able to translate technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes.Direct AI or Microsoft experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
