Digitalisation Project Leader (12 Month FTC)Up to £50,000WorcesterOur client is a leading manufacturer of innovative construction products and is looking for an Interim Digitalisation Project Leader to join their team on a 12-month contract!Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the planning, delivery and successful implementation of digitalisation projects across the businessDevelop project plans, manage timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project deliveryDrive business transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency, visibility, compliance and process controlIdentify opportunities to replace manual processes with efficient digital workflows and automated solutionsImprove process visibility, data accuracy, reporting capabilities and operational controlsSupport the implementation of automation and real-time data management solutionsPromote consistency and standardisation across business processesMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks and outcomesWork collaboratively with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain and IT teams to deliver successful projectsManage relationships with external consultants, ensuring work is completed to agreed standards and timescalesEngage stakeholders across the business to define requirements, overcome challenges and encourage adoption of new systems and processesProvide practical support and guidance throughout project implementation and change initiativesChampion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and positive change across the organisationMaintain a strong on-site presence across multiple locations, developing a thorough understanding of business processesBuild effective working relationships with operational teams to ensure successful project deliveryTake a hands-on approach to implementing practical digital solutions that deliver measurable business improvementsUndertake additional project and business transformation activities as requiredIdeal Candidate:Proven experience leading digital transformation or digitalisation projects within a manufacturing, engineering, construction products or similar operational environmentStrong project management skills with the ability to deliver multiple projects to time and budgetExperience improving business processes through automation, digital workflows and process optimisationGood understanding of IT systems, with experience of Microsoft 365 platforms and Dynamics 365 Business Central being advantageousKnowledge of quality management systems, compliance processes and operational controlsExperience using reporting and data analysis tools to support business performance and decision-makingStrong Continuous Improvement experience, including process mapping and business optimisationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levelsHighly organised, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPractical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesResilient, adaptable and committed to driving positive change across the business while demonstrating strong teamwork and company valuesWorking Hours and BenefitsMonday to Friday: 8am to 5pm23 days holiday plus bank holidaysBirthday offPrivate medical insuranceQuarterly bonus schemePension schemeCycle to Work and EV salary sacrifice schemesProfessional development opportunitiesEmployee wellbeing initiatives and on-site parkingJackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.We strive to provide the ultimate consultancy service to all our candidates.
