Dir, Global Treasury

Background:The Global Treasury Director will lead the company’s global treasury function, covering cash and liquidity management, funding, financial risk management, banking relationships, capital structure support, treasury governance, and insurance-related coordination.This role is responsible for ensuring that the company maintains sufficient liquidity, optimizes global cash deployment, manages foreign exchange and interest rate risks, and supports strategic financing initiatives aligned with the company’s global growth strategy.Given the company’s semiconductor manufacturing and operation footprint across Japan, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, the role requires strong experience in global cash management, cross-border funding, FX exposure management, bank negotiations, insurance program management, and treasury operations in a complex multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead global cash and liquidity management, including cash forecasting, cash pooling, intercompany funding, and liquidity optimization.Drive global funding and capital structure initiatives, including debt financing, refinancing, capital markets transactions, and acquisition financing for M&A.Lead FX and financial risk management, including hedging strategies for foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.Manage strategic relationships and negotiations with global and regional banks and financial institutions.Strengthen treasury governance and operations while driving standardization, automation, and digital transformation across regions.Oversee global insurance and risk financing programs.Support strategic initiatives, including M&A, post-merger integration, business restructuring, and treasury transformation.Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO and senior management, while leading and developing the global Treasury team.Key Qualifications12–15+ years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, or related finance roles.Strong experience in global cash management, funding/debt financing, FX risk management, and banking.Experience managing treasury activities across multiple countries, jurisdictions, and currencies.Proven track record of negotiating with banks and financial institutions.Experience in a multinational manufacturing or technology environment.Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English is required.Experience in semiconductor, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, capital markets, or large-scale refinancing is a plus.
