With a strong focus on quality, animal welfare and operational excellence, this is a chance to play a key role in shaping the future of a large-scale poultry production operation.The OpportunityAs Director of Live Production, you will take overall responsibility for the company’s grandparent and parent-stock operations across more than 100 sites.This is a broad, strategic and hands-on leadership role, offering significant scope to shape performance, lead investment projects and drive continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operational management of poultry production across a large, multi-site network.Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality and animal-welfare standards.Provide strong leadership, motivation and development for teams across the operation.Own strategic and operational investment planning, including the delivery of key capital projects.Ensure compliance with relevant animal-welfare, environmental, health and safety, quality, planning and construction regulations.Take responsibility for budgets, operational performance and delivery against business objectives.Partner with senior stakeholders to shape the future direction of the live-production function.About YouYou will be an accomplished leader with substantial experience in poultry production, ideally within breeder, parent-stock, grandparent-stock, hatchery or farm-management environments.You will bring:A degree in Agricultural Science, Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline.Proven senior leadership experience within the poultry industry and primary production.Strong knowledge of poultry production, animal welfare, biosecurity and farm operations.A sound understanding of relevant agricultural, environmental, planning and animal-welfare legislation.Experience leading large teams and complex, multi-site operations.Commercial awareness, strategic thinking and a results-focused mindset.Experience managing investment plans and operational improvement projects.Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.Willingness to travel regularly across Germany.Why Apply?This is a challenging and highly visible leadership position with genuine autonomy and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
