The company maintains ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 certifications, reflecting its focus on quality management, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety.Role Description The Director – Bridge Focused will lead and oversee bridge-related projects, including planning, design coordination, construction management, and delivery of bridge works within the wider infrastructure portfolio. This full-time, on-site role is based in Abu Dhabi and involves directing multidisciplinary project teams, managing contractors and consultants, and ensuring technical excellence and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The Director will monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, address engineering and construction challenges, and implement risk mitigation strategies. The role includes regular reporting to senior leadership, stakeholder engagement with clients and authorities, and continuous improvement of processes, safety practices, and quality outcomes related to bridge projects. The Director will also contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and business development initiatives within the bridge and structures segment.Qualifications Strong leadership and project management skills, including experience directing complex bridge or structural infrastructure projects.Expertise in bridge engineering, structural design principles, and construction methodologies, with familiarity with UAE or regional standards and codes.Proficiency in coordinating multidisciplinary teams (engineering, construction, quality, safety) and collaborating with contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and risk, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within agreed parameters.Commitment to quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety practices, aligned with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and ISO 45000 frameworks.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent the organization in client and authority meetings.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional certification in structural or bridge engineering is an advantage.Substantial experience in the construction industry, preferably within the UAE or GCC region, and openness to working full time on-site in Abu Dhabi.
