About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director of Capital Formation to lead our global fundraising activities across Private Equity and Private Debt strategies.This is a senior leadership position with direct responsibility for developing and executing the firm's capital formation strategy, expanding institutional and private capital relationships, and securing significant commitments from investors across the GCC, Europe, Asia, and other international markets.Based in Dubai, the Director will operate at the center of one of the world's fastest-growing private capital markets, working closely with the firm's senior leadership, investment professionals, and founding partners.The ideal candidate will bring a strong existing LP network, proven fundraising track record, deep understanding of private markets, and the ability to independently originate, develop, and close institutional relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Capital FormationDevelop and execute multi-year capital raising strategies across Private Equity and Private Debt funds.Establish fundraising plans aligned with the firm's investment strategies, fund structures, and AUM objectives.Identify priority investor segments, target markets, and channels for capital deployment.LP Origination & Relationship ManagementLeverage an established network of institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pension funds, endowments, asset managers, and financial institutions.Build and maintain senior-level relationships with prospective and existing LPs.Lead investor meetings, presentations, due diligence discussions, and negotiations through to closing.Manage the full investor lifecycle from initial engagement through commitment, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management.Fundraising & Deal ExecutionDrive the fundraising pipeline from prospect identification through to executed commitments.Coordinate complex LP due diligence processes, including DDQs, data requests, investment committee materials, and commercial negotiations.Work closely with legal, compliance, investment, and operations teams to ensure efficient execution of subscriptions and fund closings.Develop and maintain accurate fundraising forecasts, pipelines, and investor reporting.Fund Positioning & Investor MaterialsLead the positioning and messaging of the firm's PE and Private Debt strategies.Oversee the development and refinement of PPMs, pitch decks, DDQs, investor presentations, factsheets, and bespoke LP materials.Tailor the investment proposition to different investor profiles, mandates, and geographic markets.Global LP Network ExpansionExpand the firm's investor base across the GCC, Europe, Asia, and other strategic international markets.Identify emerging sources of private capital and develop relationships with new investor communities.Represent the firm at relevant private markets, investment, family office, and institutional investor forums.Market Intelligence & Strategic InsightMonitor global private capital markets, LP allocation trends, fundraising conditions, and investor preferences.Provide senior management with actionable intelligence on changes in investor appetite, fund structures, and private market allocations.Contribute to the development of new fund strategies and products based on market demand and LP feedback.Leadership & Senior Stakeholder EngagementWork directly with the firm's Founding Partners, senior management, and investment teams on strategic fundraising initiatives.Represent the firm professionally in senior-level meetings with investors and strategic partners.Help establish a scalable and institutional-quality capital formation platform.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will ideally have:10+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, private equity, private credit, investment banking, asset management, or a closely related field.A demonstrable track record of raising capital for PE, Private Credit / Debt, alternative investment, or private market strategies.An established network of LPs and institutional investors, particularly across the GCC, Europe, and international markets.Strong understanding of fund structures, private markets, investment products, and institutional due diligence.Proven ability to manage senior investor relationships and navigate complex fundraising processes.Strong commercial, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to operate independently while working closely with senior leadership and investment professionals.Existing relationships with family offices, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, institutional allocators, or other significant pools of private capital will be highly valued.
