Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Director for our Residential division, identified as RES-066. This role is instrumental in driving the commercial strategy, managing contracts, and overseeing procurement processes for our residential development projects.The Commercial Director will collaborate across departments to ensure that residential projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and aligned with Qiddiya's high standards for quality and innovation. You will lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for residential development projectsManage contract negotiations, procurement, and commercial risk throughout the project lifecycleLiaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure alignment and successful deliveryMonitor project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and value engineering opportunitiesEnsure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies related to commercial activitiesLead, motivate, and develop the commercial team to enhance performance and professional growthReport regularly to senior management on commercial performance and key project milestonesIdentify opportunities to optimize costs and improve operational efficiencies in residential developmentsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees preferredMinimum of 15 years' experience in commercial management within residential construction projectsStrong expertise in contract administration, procurement, and risk managementProven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary teamsExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilitiesFamiliarity with local residential real estate market and regulatory environment is advantageousProfessional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly desirableBenefitsOffering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
