Director, Corporate Development

This role will lead the evaluation and execution of strategic investments, partnerships and transactions aligned with Alat’s growth ambitions. The Director will manage the full deal lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and strategic rationale through valuation, structuring, negotiation, approvals, and closing, while working closely with senior leadership, business units and external advisers.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, assess and priorities strategic investment, partnership and transaction opportunitiesLead feasibility assessments, financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring and commercial negotiationsDevelop robust business cases, investment recommendations and transaction materials for senior leadership and approval committeesCoordinate financial, commercial, legal, technical and operational due diligence with internal stakeholders and external advisersManage transaction progress, key risks, dependencies and milestones across the deal lifecycleBuild alignment across business units, functional teams and external partners to support effective executionSupport governance, transaction approvals, documentation and closing activitiesContribute to Alat’s broader corporate development strategy and long-term growth objectivesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related fieldMaster’s degree or MBA preferred12+ years of experience in corporate development, M&A, investments, private equity, investment banking, or a related fieldStrong experience in transaction execution, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and negotiationExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skillsWhy Join Alat?At Alat, you will be part of a team building Saudi Arabia’s national industrial champion, advancing industries from the Kingdom to the world.As a PIF company, Alat is building and developing world-class industrial businesses through strategic partnerships, localization, and long-term manufacturing investment.
