قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجAbout the CompanyOur client is a leading Abu Dhabi-based investment and development platform focused on strategic investments, infrastructure, transport, mobility and large-scale development initiatives across the region.About the RoleAs part of its continued growth, the organisation is seeking to appoint a high-calibre Director – Corporate M&A to lead and support strategic acquisitions, investment analysis and transaction execution activities across the platform. This is a senior corporate M&A position working closely with investment leadership, finance, corporate strategy and executive management. The successful candidate will play a leading role in evaluating and executing acquisitions, investments, strategic partnerships and broader corporate finance initiatives across the group. While experience within infrastructure, project finance or real assets would be advantageous, it is not essential. The core requirement is strong corporate M&A capability, well-developed commercial judgement and substantial transaction execution experience.ResponsibilitiesLead and support the execution of corporate M&A and strategic investment transactionsEvaluate acquisition opportunities, strategic partnerships and corporate investmentsLead detailed financial and commercial analysis, including:EBITDA analysisFree cash-flow analysisReturn and yield assessmentsLBO-style investment analysisInvestment performance evaluationAssess long-term value creation, commercial viability and investment return scenariosAnalyse transaction comparables, industry metrics and market opportunitiesLead and coordinate financial, commercial and operational due diligence workstreamsSupport transaction structuring and commercial negotiationsPrepare and present investment committee papers, board materials and strategic recommendationsCoordinate with external advisors, including investment banks, consultants, accountants and legal counselProvide commercially focused advice and recommendations to senior leadershipWork closely with finance, investment and strategy teams across the platformSupport the continued development of the organisation’s corporate M&A capabilityMentor and provide direction to junior members of the investment and transaction teamQualificationsThe ideal candidate will bring a strong corporate M&A background combined with excellent commercial judgement and strategic financial analysis experience.
