Job PurposeTo oversee the corporate procurement function across ARDARA including bidding process, selection and qualification of bidders and final agreement and contracting to ensure that corporate procurement process is managed in a cost-effective manner, therefore achieving ARDARA’s objective of obtaining value for money services and goods.Key AccountabilitiesJob-Specific AccountabilitiesCorporate Procurement Management Manage various corporate procurement activities including implementation of approved purchasing and contracting policies and procedures, supplier sourcing, auditing, evaluating and documentation in accordance with defined cost and quality standards.Review the corporate procurement requests received and propose solution from the procurement function to ensure that the orders are requested within the approved budget.Manage the process of developing RFPs and other procurement documentation and obtain needed approvals as per the relevant delegation of authority in ARDARA.Work with Supplier Management team to evaluate potential suppliers for reliability and capability of becoming approved suppliers/vendors and support in setting vendors’ selection criteria and standards.Research and monitor activities and trends in the relevant supply markets in order to ensure informed commercial decision making on supplier identification, selection and pricing.Build and maintain relationships with a network of vendors to ensure the services and products provided to the users meet the highest quality standards within allocated budget.Conduct the activities involving the identification and establishment of local, regional and international supply sources in order to identify the most competent vendors.Work closely with internal stakeholders (finance, commercial, legal …) and any stakeholders needed to ensure effective, cost efficient and risk sound procurement process.Resolve complex purchasing problems escalated from buyers with an appreciation of the cost-effectiveness of solutions.Job RequirementsMinimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.Master’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is desirable.Experience15+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management in a fast-paced and dynamic environment in a development organization.A proven track record of deploying forward-looking operational methods.Comprehensive working knowledge of governing bodies, committees, and regulatory organizations for the development sector within KSA.
