You will own the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the financial models that underpin executive decision-making, Board reporting, capital raises, project financing, strategic investments, acquisitions and IPO readiness.You will work directly with the VP, Strategy & FP&A and regularly support the CFO, executive leadership team, Board of Directors, investors and external advisors. Your models will influence hundreds of millions—and ultimately billions—of dollars in capital allocation decisions.Success requires exceptional modelling discipline, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to build elegant, auditable financial models that withstand institutional due diligence.Responsibilities:Enterprise Financial ModellingOwn and continuously improve the Company's fully integrated corporate financial modelDevelop sophisticated three-statement operating models supporting executive decision-makingBuild scenario analyses covering growth strategies, financing alternatives and capital allocationCreate long-range strategic planning models extending five to ten yearsProduce highly reliable forecasting models with institutional-quality documentation and controlsCapital Markets & Strategic FinanceSupport equity fundraising, private placements and pre-IPO financing activitiesDevelop financial analyses supporting IPO readiness and public company reporting expectationsPrepare investor-quality valuation analyses, sensitivity analyses and return modelsBuild transaction models supporting strategic acquisitions, partnerships and joint venturesSupport Board materials and investment committee presentationsProject & Infrastructure FinanceBuild and maintain project finance models for multiple North American and European facilitiesDevelop debt sizing, covenant compliance and lender reporting modelsEvaluate government incentive programs, grants and tax credit opportunitiesModel manufacturing economics across multiple technologies and jurisdictionsSupport financing discussions with banks, infrastructure funds and institutional lendersExecutive Decision SupportDeliver high-quality analyses directly to executive leadership under tight timelinesTranslate complex financial scenarios into concise strategic recommendationsIdentify key business drivers, risks and opportunitiesChallenge assumptions through rigorous analytical thinkingProvide financial support for major commercial and strategic initiativesFinancial Planning & AnalysisSupport annual planning, forecasting and long-range planning processesDevelop KPI dashboards and operational performance modelsImprove forecasting accuracy through enhanced analytical techniquesPartner closely with Accounting to ensure model integrity and consistencySupport monthly executive reporting and Board reportingProcess ExcellenceEstablish best-in-class financial modelling standardsCreate model governance, version control and documentation practicesImprove automation and analytical efficiencyMaintain rigorous quality control over all financial outputsEnsure models are scalable as the business continues global expansionThe Qualifications:RequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related disciplineMBA, CFA or CPA considered a strong asset3–5 years of financial modelling experience within one or more of Investment Banking (ECM, M&A or Industrials); Equity Capital Markets; Late-stage venture capital; Private equity; Infrastructure investing; and Project financeDemonstrated experience building sophisticated institutional-quality financial modelsExperience supporting capital raises, strategic transactions or major investmentsAdvanced Microsoft Excel expertise (expert-level modelling skills)Strong PowerPoint presentation capabilitiesPreferredMetals, mining, energy transition, industrials or infrastructure sectorsManufacturing or project finance modellingPublic company or IPO preparation experienceUS GAAP financial modellingCorporate reporting in USDMulti-entity and multinational modellingExperience working with executive leadership and BoardsWhat Makes You Exceptional:You are known as the person whose models everyone trusts.You combine investment banking modelling discipline with commercial judgment.
