Jasara Program Management Company (Jasara PMC) is a leading Joint Venture between Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, established to deliver world-class program management services across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Jasara plays a key role in supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in delivering giga-projects and large-scale infrastructure developments.We are seeking a Director for Power to join JASARA PMC. The Director - Power (LV Switchgear) is responsible for leading the operational strategy, asset management, maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle planning of all Low Voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems across the City. The role will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of LV switchgear assets supporting residential communities, entertainment destinations, hospitality assets, public realm, transportation facilities, and critical infrastructure.The Director will establish maintenance standards, reliability programs, emergency response procedures, asset performance frameworks, and long-term replacement strategies while ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, international electrical standards, and operational requirements.Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement the city-wide LV electrical asset management strategyEstablish operational policies, maintenance standards, and reliability programs for LV switchgear assetsLead technical governance and provide SME guidance on LV distribution systemsSupport City Operations leadership in developing long-term utility operational plansOperations & MaintenanceOversee operation and maintenance of: LV SwitchgearMain Distribution Boards (MDBs)Sub Main Distribution Boards (SMDBs)Motor Control Centers (MCCs)Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)Capacitor BanksProtection and Control SystemsEmergency Power Distribution SystemsEnsure planned, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities are executed effectivelyDrive improvements in equipment availability, reliability, and energy efficiencyMonitor asset health and performance using CMMS/EAM platformsAsset ManagementDevelop lifecycle management plans for all LV distribution assetsConduct condition assessments and criticality analysisLead capital replacement and refurbishment programsEstablish asset performance KPIs and reliability targetsSupport budget development and long-term capital planningReliability & EngineeringLead root cause analysis investigations for major power incidentsDevelop reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologiesReview power system studies including: Load Flow AnalysisShort Circuit AnalysisProtection Coordination StudiesArc Flash StudiesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programsHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with: Saudi Building CodeSaudi Electricity RegulationsIEC StandardsNFPA StandardsOccupational Safety RequirementsLead electrical safety programs including LOTO implementationManage operational risk assessments and incident investigationsEnsure contractor compliance with safety and technical requirementsStakeholder ManagementCollaborate with: Utilities OperationsAsset ManagementFacilities ManagementDevelopment TeamsProject Delivery TeamsExternal Service ProvidersRegulatory AuthoritiesProvide technical leadership during commissioning, handover, and operational readiness activitiesTeam LeadershipLead and develop a team of electrical engineers, maintenance managers, and technical specialistsEstablish workforce capability plans and training programsMentor future leaders within the City Operations organizationRequirementsMinimum 15+ years of experience in electrical power systemsMinimum 7+ years in leadership or director-level rolesBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringMaster's Degree in Power Systems Engineering or Asset Management preferredExperience managing large-scale utility or city infrastructure assetsStrong experience with: LV Switchgear Operations & Maintenance, Critical Electrical Infrastructure, Smart Cities, Airports, Metro, Utilities, Large Mixed-Use Developments, Theme Parks, or Mega ProjectsExperience with SAP PM, SAP EAM, Maximo, or similar enterprise asset management systems Professional Certifications (Preferred)PMPCMRPIAM Certificate or DiplomaChartered Engineer (CEng)NFPA 70E CertificationAsset Management Certifications
