As the business continues to scale, security remains at the heart of its strategy, operations, and customer experience.This is a rare opportunity for a strategic and hands-on security leader to influence business-wide decision-making, drive best-in-class security practices, and lead a talented global team.The OpportunityReporting into senior technology leadership, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's global information security strategy while ensuring the ongoing protection of systems, platforms, data, and customers.You will work closely with Technology, Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, HR, and Finance teams to embed security across all areas of the business and maintain compliance with internationally recognised standards and frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine, develop, and execute the global Information Security strategyLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Security Engineers and AnalystsDrive a security-first culture across the organisation through security-by-design and privacy-by-design principlesPartner with senior stakeholders to ensure security is embedded into business initiatives, projects, and operational processesLead security operations, monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and remediation activitiesAdvise executive leadership on emerging threats, risks, and strategic security prioritiesEnsure ongoing compliance with regulatory and industry security standardsManage security budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investmentsContinuously assess and improve organisational security maturity and resilienceAbout YouYou are a pragmatic and commercially minded security leader with a strong technical foundation and the ability to influence at executive level.Essential Experience10+ years of progressive experience within Information Security and Cyber Security leadership rolesProven track record of developing and leading high-performing security teamsStrong experience operating within cloud-first and SaaS environmentsIn-depth knowledge of cyber security technologies, threat management, risk mitigation, and security operationsExperience working across multiple business functions to drive organisational changeExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skillsStrong commercial awareness including budgeting and financial management responsibilitiesBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related disciplinePreferred CertificationsOne or more of the following:CISSPCISMOSCPCEHAWS Security CertificationsEquivalent industry-recognised qualificationsHighly Desirable ExperienceLeading compliance programmes within regulated environmentsStrong working knowledge of:ISO 27001PCI DSSSOC 2HIPAANISTGDPRIRAPExperience managing complex customer security requirements and auditsBackground supporting global enterprise clientsWhat's on Offer?Competitive executive-level salaryComprehensive health and wellbeing packagePension contributionLife assurance and income protectionGym and lifestyle benefitsEnhanced holiday entitlement, including an additional day off for your birthdayFully remote working arrangementThe opportunity to make a measurable impact within a growing international technology businessDiversity & InclusionOur client is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
