Location: HyderabadExperience: 18+ YearsLeadership Experience: 5+ Years in Director-level Engineering LeadershipIndustry: SaaS / B2B Software / Cloud Product CompanyImportant Candidate RequirementCandidates must have significant experience working for SaaS, cloud software, or technology product companies.Role OverviewWe are looking for a senior Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering leader to own and scale infrastructure platforms supporting a large-scale SaaS product environment.The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, AWS, VMware, hybrid cloud architectures, infrastructure automation, networking, virtualization, storage, and distributed systems, combined with strong engineering leadership experience.This is a senior technical leadership position requiring experience building and operating reliable, scalable infrastructure for a product/SaaS business, not a services delivery environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams supporting large-scale SaaS environments.

Define and execute infrastructure and cloud strategy aligned with product and business growth. Architect and operate highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure platforms. Drive AWS cloud architecture and hybrid-cloud environments. Lead VMware-based virtualization and integration with cloud infrastructure. Own infrastructure automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and platform engineering initiatives. Improve reliability, scalability, performance, availability, and operational efficiency. Lead architecture and engineering decisions across networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and distributed systems. Establish automation and self-service capabilities for engineering teams. Drive modernization of infrastructure platforms and reduce manual operational dependencies. Partner closely with application/product engineering, security, DevOps, SRE, and other technical teams. Build engineering standards around monitoring, incident management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Mentor and develop senior engineering managers and infrastructure engineers. Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve engineering productivity, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational processes. Champion responsible adoption of AI-powered engineering tools across infrastructure and platform teams. Mandatory Requirements 18+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related areas. 5+ years of engineering leadership experience at Director level or equivalent, managing infrastructure/cloud/platform engineering teams. Strong experience working within SaaS / cloud software / technology product companies. Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud infrastructure. Strong experience with VMware and hybrid-cloud architectures. Strong understanding of:Networking Virtualization Compute Storage Distributed systems High availability Scalability Disaster recovery Proven experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation. Experience operating infrastructure platforms supporting large-scale SaaS products/environments. Strong understanding of infrastructure reliability, monitoring, performance, security, and operational excellence. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools as a force multiplier for engineering productivity and operational efficiency. Ability to advocate and drive adoption of AI tools across engineering teams. Strong communication, stakeholder management, architecture, and technical leadership skills. Preferred ExperienceAWS infrastructure at significant scale. Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies. Kubernetes/containerized infrastructure. CI/CD and DevOps/SRE practices. Observability and monitoring platforms. Multi-region / highly available SaaS infrastructure. Cloud migration and hybrid-cloud transformation. Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical SaaS platforms.
