Director - Investment Advisory

Objective:Provide strategic investment advice and insights to the Department on global and local investment opportunities, trends, and market developments.Essential Duties:Develop in-house view of Global Capital Markets Outlook and develop thought leadership on cross asset strategy and asset class investment trendsInitiate ideas for new research or projects, and develop presentations for DOF Leadership and SCFEA, for example (but not limited to) matters concerning global investment & asset class trends, and investment opportunities, SWF strategy, etc. Execute special projects, 'first response' analysis and other urgent matters Manage relationships with portfolio companies, review and enhance reporting frameworkAssist in Portfolio budget review and other corporate-finance related proposals sent for approval to DOF by portfolio companiesManage and Deepen relationships with Investment Banks and Fund ManagersOversee preparation of periodic briefing reports for DOF leadership on investment mattersProvide the necessary support to the line manager and perform any other related tasks assigned.Experience and Qualifications:Preferable to have 8 to 12 years of experience in a similar field/position.Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Economics or Finance or Accounting, or its equivalent in a similar specialty appropriate to the job duties.MBA or CFA /CPA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
