Director, Investment Operations

Job Summary :Provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight for the Fund’s investment support operations, ensuring strong execution of the investment lifecycle, accurate analytics, and effective coordination across investment departments. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity of investment data, governance of performance reporting, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. It leads the design, implementation, and enhancement of systems, controls, and operational frameworks that strengthen operational resilience, transparency, and decision‑making effectiveness in alignment with the investment strategy and the Fund’s long‑term objectives.Responsibilities & Accountabilities :-Organize and oversee the work of the Investment Support team to ensure all tasks are executed efficiently and in accordance with policies and governance standards.-Provide on‑the‑job guidance and training to managers, specialists, and new colleagues to strengthen operational, analytical, and leadership capabilities.-Promote a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.-Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support professional development plans.-Oversee the preparation and submission of departmental reports related to investment operations, system performance, and data integrity.-Ensure the accuracy and consistency of performance reports and dashboards and their alignment with board and executive management requirements.-Coordinate with Impact Portfolio units and investment departments to ensure performance data integration across reports and applications.-Provide strategic direction for developing the investment operations strategy and governance framework, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and the investment lifecycle.-Design and maintain comprehensive policies for trading, settlement, reconciliation, custody, valuation, and data management across portfolios.-Ensure alignment of investment operations frameworks with national requirements and international standards such as GIPS, ISO, SWIFT, and approved governance standards.-Manage the comprehensive framework for identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational challenges across portfolios, instruments, counterparties, and markets.-Ensure independent verification of operational data accuracy and the quality of settlements and reconciliations.-Oversee the analysis of operational concentrations, counterparty exposures, and process‑chain vulnerabilities across asset classes.-Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and market events affecting investment operations efficiency.-Lead the development and implementation of advanced operations analytics tools and dashboards for real‑time monitoring of the investment lifecycle.-Develop KPIs and KRIs to monitor settlement efficiency, reconciliation accuracy, data quality, and execution speed.-Ensure the preparation of accurate and consistent reports on settlements, reconciliations, operational liquidity, and scenario analyses for relevant committees.-Ensure adherence to governance standards, investment mandates, and compliance and regulatory requirements.-Collaborate with Legal, GRC, and Audit to maintain strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and application of the authority matrix.-Review compliance reports, audit findings, and operational incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.Job Requirements:-Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or Business Administration.-Years of experience : A minimum of 9 years of experience in investment operations, analysis, or middle‑office management, including 4 years in a leadership role.-Skills :Information Systems Knowledge, Investment Portfolio Management, Treasury and Liquidity Management, Deal Structuring, Data Analysis and Reporting, Internal Business Advisory and Guidance, Market Research and Intelligence.
