Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Summary :Provide strategic leadership and direction in developing, implementing, and enhancing the Fund’s investment risk‑management framework. The role ensures effective identification, measurement, and monitoring of market, credit, liquidity, operational, and ESG‑related risks across all asset classes, while ensuring alignment with the Fund’s financial sustainability objectives and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities & Accountabilities :-Organize and oversee the work of the Investment Risk team to ensure efficient execution of all activities in compliance with policies and governance standards.-Provide on‑the‑job guidance and training to managers, specialists, and analysts to develop their technical and analytical capabilities.-Promote a high‑performance, collaborative culture focused on accountability, learning, and innovation.-Monitor team and individual performance, supporting professional development and capacity building.-Oversee the preparation and approval of comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries submitted to management, committees, and the Board.-Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and reliability of all reports submitted to the Investment Committee, Risk Committee, and Audit Committee.-Coordinate with Finance, Treasury, and Portfolio teams to consolidate data across the organization.-Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analyses.-Provide strategic direction for developing the investment risk strategy and governance framework, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management and investment objectives.-Design and maintain comprehensive policies for managing market, credit, liquidity, operational, and ESG risks across portfolios.-Ensure alignment of risk‑management frameworks with national requirements and international standards such as Basel III, IFRS, ESG, and the approved risk appetite.-Lead periodic reviews of policies and risk limits to reflect market developments, portfolio structure, and regulatory requirements.-Manage the comprehensive framework for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across portfolios, instruments, counterparties, and markets.-Ensure independent model validation and accuracy in measuring exposures, volatility, and sensitivities.-Oversee analysis of concentration risk, counterparty exposures, and systemic vulnerabilities across asset classes.-Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and global market events affecting the Fund’s risk profile.-Lead the development and implementation of advanced risk‑analytics tools and real‑time monitoring dashboards.-Develop investment risk and performance indicators (KPIs & KRIs) to monitor portfolio resilience, capital adequacy, and diversification efficiency.-Ensure accurate and consistent reporting of exposures, stress‑test results, and scenario analyses to relevant committees.-Promote the use of AI, predictive analytics, and automation to strengthen proactive analytical capabilities.-Ensure adherence to governance standards, investment mandates, and compliance and oversight requirements.-Collaborate with Legal, GRC, and Audit to maintain strong internal controls, segregation of duties, and application of the authority matrix.-Review compliance reports, audit findings, and risk incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.-Develop and maintain transparent documentation and procedures outlining risk‑related decision‑making pathways.-Monitor risk‑adjusted performance metrics such as Sharpe Ratio, VaR, and Drawdown to ensure returns align with approved risk limits.-Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance capital allocation.-Provide insights and analyses to senior management, the Board, and committees on systemic risks, mitigation approaches, and emerging trends.Strengthen cross‑departmental partnerships to ensure risk considerations are integrated into investment planning, treasury operations, and impact programs.Job Requirements:-Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or Business Administration.-Years of experience : A minimum of 9 years of experience in investment risk management or portfolio risk, including 3 years in a leadership role overseeing multi‑asset portfolios.-Skills :Investment Planning and Development, Treasury and Liquidity Management, Opportunity Identification and Development, Information Systems Knowledge, Deal Structuring, Market Research and Intelligence, Internal Business Advisory and Guidance, Strategic Thinking.
