Director – IT Infrastructure | Regional Head – Mumbai

Our client is a leading global investment and solutions firm with a long-standing presence across global financial markets. The organisation provides investment management and advisory solutions to institutional investors, financial intermediaries and individual investors worldwide. The Professional will lead the regional infrastructure organisation and play a key role in shaping the firm's infrastructure strategy, operational resilience and technology modernisation agenda in India.Some of the key responsibilities will include:Lead the IT Infrastructure strategy and execution for the Mumbai region, ensuring alignment with global technology strategy and broader business objectives.Own the architecture, delivery and operational management of hybrid infrastructure environments, spanning Microsoft Azure, on premises data centres, enterprise platforms and associated technologies.Lead and develop a high-performing regional infrastructure organisation across engineering, operations and support, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and operational excellence.To be eligible for this role you will require:17+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience, with at least 8+ years in senior infrastructure leadership roles managing regional or large-scale teams.Proven experience leading regional or enterprise infrastructure organisations, preferably within a global financial-services or other highly regulated environment.Strong expertise across Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud, on-premises infrastructure and VMware virtualisation.Strong understanding of enterprise networking and security technologies, including Cisco and Palo Alto environments.Hands-on understanding of modern infrastructure practices including Terraform, Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and GitLab.Strong knowledge of infrastructure resilience, service reliability, disaster recovery, business continuity and operational risk management.Please email your cv directly in word format with job ID: 16047 to Muhammed@theedgepartnership.comBy submitting your application, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed using secure recruitment technologies, including AI-assisted tools, for recruitment, assessment, interview documentation, candidate representation, and related business purposes.
