technology leader for our European operations and, importantly, as the bridge between our European business and our Global IT organization in North America.This is not simply an IT operations role.You will work alongside senior European business leaders to understand where the business is going, translate those priorities into technology requirements, and ensure the European voice is represented in global technology decisions.At the same time, you will partner closely with our North American Global IT leadership and domain teams to bring global standards, capabilities and expertise into Europe.Your challenge is to make both sides work as one global technology organization.What You Will DoBe the Bridge Between Europe and North AmericaYou will be the primary connection between European business leadership and our Global IT organization.You will build trusted relationships with executives and operational leaders across Europe while developing equally strong partnerships with Global IT leaders responsible for ERP, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, service desk, data and other enterprise technologies.You will ensure that:European business requirements are heard, understood and appropriately prioritized.Global technology strategies and standards are effectively translated into the European operating environment.Business leaders understand the technology implications of major operational and investment decisions.Global IT teams understand the business realities and priorities of our European operations.Ownership, accountability and decision-making remain clear across a global matrix organization.Simply put: you will connect the people who understand the business with the people who enable it through technology.Build Trusted Executive RelationshipsTechnology decisions increasingly are business decisions.You will establish yourself as a trusted technology partner to European executives and operational leaders, ensuring IT is involved early when the business is considering changes involving systems, data, infrastructure, integrations, vendors, cybersecurity, applications or operating processes.You will listen to the voice of the business, challenge when necessary, facilitate decisions and help stakeholders navigate competing regional and global priorities.Success in this role will depend as much on your ability to influence, communicate and build trust as it does on your technical knowledge.Lead IT Services Across EuropeAs the accountable IT leader for Europe, you will provide leadership across:ERP and enterprise applicationsInfrastructure and cloud environmentsService desk and end-user technologyCybersecurityData and integrationsTechnology projects and transformationVendor and supplier relationshipsTechnology architecture and governanceYou will coordinate internal teams, external partners and Global IT resources to provide reliable, secure and scalable technology services across our European locations.Create Alignment and AccountabilityWorking in a global matrix requires clarity.You will partner with Global IT leaders to establish clear ownership for business engagement, architecture, solution design, configuration, implementation, support and ongoing service performance.You will develop an effective European technology governance model covering:Business Need → Intake → Prioritization → Architecture → Decision → Delivery → SupportThe objective is straightforward: the right people involved in the right decisions at the right time.Shape the European Technology RoadmapWorking with European leadership and Global IT, you will develop and maintain the European technology roadmap across applications, ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, integrations and digital initiatives.You will balance regional requirements with global standards while ensuring investments support long-term business objectives.You will also evaluate emerging technologies, industry practices and external solutions that can strengthen our operations and employee technology experience.Develop a High-Performing European IT TeamYou will lead, coach and develop the European IT organization while partnering with Global IT domain leaders.You will:Create clear accountability and expectations.Identify and close capability and knowledge gaps.Coach and develop current and future leaders.Establish meaningful performance and development objectives.Build succession and talent plans.Foster collaboration across countries, functions and global teams.Create an inclusive, accountable and high-performance environment.What You BringWe are looking for an experienced technology leader who understands that influence is often more powerful than authority in a global organization.You will ideally bring:Significant senior IT leadership experience within a multi-location, international organization.Demonstrated experience operating successfully within a global matrix environment.A strong track record of building relationships with Director, VP and C-suite stakeholders.Experience connecting regional business requirements with global technology strategies and standards.Broad understanding of enterprise technology environments including ERP, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, integrations and service delivery.Experience leading technology transformation and complex cross-functional projects.Strong commercial judgement, including budgeting, vendor management and technology investment decisions.Experience leading and developing international technology teams.Understanding of European data, privacy, security and data-residency considerations.Excellent facilitation, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Fluency in Dutch and English; French is considered an asset.A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
