Apply & track with Apply EdgeLeadership & OversightLead a multidisciplinary team - Clinical Research Coordinators, Data Coordinators, Medical Records staff, Clinic and Infusion Nurses, Nurse Navigators, and Referral Intake and Scheduling staff - with a proactive, hands-on approach.Train, coach, and develop direct reports, building lasting competency and keeping the team aligned with company's values and standards.Champion high-quality, patient-centered care across all clinical and study workflows.Operational ManagementDirect the full patient pathway: referral intake, scheduling, navigation, study startup, and protocol feasibility.Guide the rollout and use of CTMS, EHR, and related clinical documentation systems.Safeguard accurate, timely data capture and maintain audit readiness across every department.Establish and continually refine workflows and SOPs to keep operations efficient and compliant.Clinical & Study CollaborationAct as the clinical and operational point of contact for investigators, quality, regulatory, pharmacy, and global shared services.Work alongside fellow leaders to deliver care that stays fully within research protocol scope.Evaluate new protocols for feasibility, weighing nursing and operational capacity from the outset.Distribute studies equitably and provide steady support to study teams.Process Improvement & Strategic SupportApply continuous-improvement methods to streamline workflows and clear operational bottlenecks.Monitor key metrics across referrals, screening, enrollment, and patient satisfaction.Contribute to strategic and regional initiatives that widen patient access and strengthen performance.Partner with quality and compliance to uphold all federal, GCP, and GDPR requirements.Take on additional duties as needed.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Nursing or a related health fieldActive RN license in good standing in the practicing stateAt least 5 years of leadership experience in oncology clinical researchCITI GCP trainingSolid command of federal clinical research regulations, GCP, and GDPRComfort with Microsoft Office and EHR/CTMS platformsPreferred Education and ExperienceAdvanced degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or similar)ONS/ONCC chemotherapy/immunotherapy certificateOncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credentialPhysical & Travel RequirementsPrimarily sedentary role, with roughly 80% of time spent seatedFast-moving, constantly evolving healthcare settingTight deadlines and a steady need to stay currentClose, cross-functional collaboration with physicians and other teamsOccasional travel for site activation and training (under 10%)
