As part of Savvy Games Group, Mirai is positioned to play a critical role in developing the gaming ecosystem across the MENA region.Role SummaryMirai is seeking a product and team focused Director of AI to join the leadership team. This role combines local and global AI strategy, production leadership, and team development. The Director of AI will lead the production roadmap and integration of AI solutions across a variety of Scopely business units and studio operations teams, while building local capability and driving innovation.Reporting to the CEO, this role is both strategic and hands-on, working closely with Scopely's global GenAI teams, internal and global stakeholders, while leading a local Department consisting of AI Engineers, Project, and Product Managers.RequirementsAI & Production LeadershipOversee end-to-end development of automation and AI-enable software solutions for a variety of internal clients and use casesSupport the design and implement of AI strategy across the team's production pipelinesEnsure alignment between product vision, technical feasibility, and business goalsCollaborate with global teams to integrate best practices and maintain qualityEnsure scalable and agile production processes leveraging AIStrategic AI IntegrationIdentify high-impact AI use cases across development, operations, and player experience in collaboration with Scopely CTO and Mirai CEODrive adoption of AI tools across Central Teams, Engineering, QA, Marketing, Business Development, and AnalyticsEnsure responsible AI usage, governance, compliance, risk management, and ethicsRegional Talent DevelopmentBuild and mentor high-performing multidisciplinary teams focused on AI solution creation, integration and adoption at scaleDevelop local AI and technical talent in KSA and MENA, growing the Department to a world-class center of excellenceEstablish internship, mentorship, and training programmesFoster a culture of learning, innovation, and inclusionPartnerships & Ecosystem GrowthBuild partnerships with global studios, academia, and AI technology providersDrive community initiatives including AI jams and participation in local industry eventsSupport development of the regional gaming and AI ecosystemMirai Studio Senior LeadershipContribute to long-term strategy, operational excellence, and culture of Mirai Studio at largeDefine Department OKRs, manage Department budgets, and ensure sustainable, long-term success of the DepartmentCollaborate with Scopley CTO and Mirai CEO to align AI and production strategy with business objectives, locally for Mirai and Globally for Internal ClientsSupport executive decision-making with data and insightsAct as Studio Expert to support adoption of AI solutions and Mindset across the entire Mirai Studio Benefits15+ years experience in software development and AI-related roles 7+ years in senior leadership or executive rolesProven track record delivering high-quality software and AI-driven productsStrong understanding of AI/ML, SAS production, and systems designExperience building and leading cross-functional teamsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong operational and delivery disciplinePreferredExperience in MENA regionExperience growing and mentoring fresh talent and building high-performing teamsArabic language or cultural fluencyExperience building ecosystems and/or local community initiative
