This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the management of assets, facilities operations, engineering projects, and support services while ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability, safety, and service excellence across the organization.About the RoleThe role is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization assets, facilities operations, engineering services, and support services to ensure the sustainability, readiness, and efficiency of assets while maintaining a safe and effective working environment in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement operational plans for the management, operation, and maintenance of assets and facilities.Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure facility readiness, efficiency, and sustainability.Manage facilities service contracts and monitor contractors and service providers against agreed service levels and performance standards.Monitor asset and facility conditions, maintain accurate asset records, and identify improvement and development requirements.Ensure effective utilization of facilities and resources while promoting sustainability and energy efficiency.Manage and oversee engineering, construction, renovation, maintenance, and development projects.Review technical studies, designs, engineering specifications, and project requirements.Monitor contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, budgets, and approved timelines.Oversee facilities monitoring, access control, security, safety, cleaning, and other operational support services.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements across all facilities.Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, contractors, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.Prepare periodic operational, technical, and performance reports and recommend improvement initiatives.Manage and develop team performance, identify training needs, and promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Engineering Project Management, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in managing facilities operations, engineering projects, contractors, service providers, and operational budgets.Required SkillsAssets & Facilities Management.Engineering Project Management.Contracts & Service Providers Management.Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Planning.Occupational Health & Safety Management.Budgeting & Cost Management.Reporting & Data Analysis.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Collaboration and teamwork.Customer focus and service excellence.Initiative, creativity, and continuous improvement.Ability to support and enable organizational change.Preferred SkillsStrategic thinking and planning.Strong leadership and people management capabilities.Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.Strong decision-making and judgment.Experience managing multidisciplinary facilities and engineering operations.Knowledge of sustainability, energy efficiency, and facilities optimization practices.
