Key ResponsibilitiesManages the organization of activities related to the entire value chain in the petrochemicals sector and the technical operations of petrochemical plants.Participates in the development and preparation of policies and procedures and provides recommendations in accordance with the general objectives and leading practices in the field of work.Proposes areas for development and improvement with regard to operational procedures to enhance the operational efficiency of the department.Manages the department's annual operating budget, monitors its performance, and submits periodic reports thereon.Manages tasks related to organizing all activities associated with the activities and practices of companies or institutions operating in the petrochemicals sector.Facilitates the preparation of a strategy for the entire value chain of the petrochemicals sector.Plans the review of strategies whose implementation is supervised to ensure that their intended objectives are achieved.Manages and organizes the production processes of petrochemical materials across the sector's value chain (N, N+1).Facilitates coordination tasks with relevant entities to align the availability of petrochemical materials with the needs of downstream industries (industrial applications) and ensure supply chains.Plans the sector's capacity and monitors the balance of supply and demand for petrochemical products, including the provision of inputs required for industrial applications.Facilitates activities related to the development and enforcement of rules, standards, and regulations concerning the production of petrochemical materials.Manages tasks related to enabling the sector's growth and implementing incentive plans.Supervises activities supporting the development of technologies in the sector, including Crude Oil-to-Chemicals (COTC) technology, to achieve integration between oil, gas, and primary petrochemicals.Manages tasks related to monitoring the sector's performance indicators and achievement of targets.Supervises the review and approval of feasibility studies for new petrochemical projects and development projects for existing plants, ensuring their alignment with the petrochemical’s strategy.Complies with the work rules and conduct, cybersecurity policies, and procedures applicable to the organizational unit.Performs any other tasks assigned by direct supervisors.Required ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant field.EducationBachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
