قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجDirector, Business Development & Capital MarketsVancouver, BC | Hybrid/Flexible | Full-TimeThe OpportunityA growing boutique financial advisory and M&A firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking a Director of Business Development & Capital Markets to lead business origination and help build out its merchant banking practice.This is a highly visible, front-office role for someone who knows the Canadian capital markets ecosystem, has strong relationships across the investment community, and enjoys developing new business.Working directly with the Founder and CEO, you will originate opportunities across M&A, public listings, capital raising, investments and strategic advisory and develop relationships with founders, executives, bankers, brokers, lawyers and investors.The firm already has an established finance and back-office team supporting diligence, financial operations and transaction execution. Your focus will be building relationships, originating opportunities and winning new mandates. What You'll DoLead business development across M&A, public listings, financings, investments and advisoryBuild and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients and transactionsDevelop relationships with founders, CEOs/CFOs, investment bankers, brokers, securities attorneys, auditors and investorsIdentify companies considering an IPO, RTO, CPC qualifying transaction or direct listingOriginate acquisition, sell-side and strategic transaction opportunitiesWork with brokers, family offices and institutional investors in support of client financingsPrepare pitches and proposals and help negotiate and close new engagementsRepresent the firm at conferences, investor forums and capital-markets eventsPartner directly with the CEO on growth strategy and new opportunitiesWhat We're Looking For7–10+ years of investment banking, capital markets, merchant banking or related front-office experienceExperience with going-public transactions, including IPOs, RTOs, CPC qualifying transactions and/or direct listingsStrong understanding of the Canadian public markets, including CSE, TSXV and TSXEstablished network within the Canadian capital-markets communityDemonstrated ability to originate business and win mandatesKnowledge of M&A, financings, valuation, term sheets and transaction structuresEntrepreneurial, relationship-driven personality with strong sales instinctsComfortable operating within a lean, fast-moving organizationBachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or related field; CPA, CFA or other securities credentials are valued but not requiredBased in or willing to relocate to Vancouver, BCCompensationCompetitive base salary plus a significant performance-based bonus tied to origination and closed transactions, with meaningful upside for a proven business generator.
