Job DescriptionSeeking a Business Development Director to lead strategic growth across industrial and engineered-product markets. This individual will identify and develop new customers, markets, applications, and strategic partnerships while driving profitable revenue growth.The ideal candidate is a hunter-minded commercial leader with experience selling engineered products into OEM, industrial manufacturing, and related technical markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business development and go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals.Identify and secure new OEM, industrial, and strategic accounts.Build relationships with senior decision-makers across engineering, purchasing, operations, and executive leadership.Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, RFQ/RFP activity, proposals, negotiations, and closing.Identify emerging markets, applications, and customer opportunities for Norca's engineered products.Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, forecasts, and key performance metrics.Partner with Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams to develop customer-specific solutions.Lead strategic account development and expand existing customer opportunities.Represent Norca at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.Provide market intelligence and growth recommendations to executive leadership.Qualifications8+ years of B2B sales/business development experience, preferably within industrial manufacturing or engineered products.Proven track record of new business acquisition and revenue growth.Experience selling to OEMs, industrial customers, distributors, or technical end users.Strong technical/consultative sales capability and ability to understand engineered solutions.Experience developing new markets and executing strategic growth initiatives.Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Bachelor's degree preferred; Engineering or Business background a plus.Willingness to travel as required.Location: Candidates must be located at the corporate headquarters in Raleigh.Work Arrangement: This is an onsite role with no remote or hybrid option. However, the client would like to understand approximately what percentage of candidates are seeking remote or hybrid arrangements.Client Perspective: The client believes sales professionals will be most successful in reaching their full earning potential by working from the office.Strong Tenure: Candidates should demonstrate strong career stability, ideally having been with their current company and in their current role for at least 3–4 years.Industry Experience: Candidates must currently work for an engineered products manufacturing company and have experience selling products to industries such as Commercial Vehicles, Off-Highway, Oil & Gas, Locomotive, Automotive, or Marine.Global Sales & Leadership: Candidates must have experience managing international/global sales as well as leading and managing sales teams.
