Its experienced team is well-versed in state-specific guidelines for workers’ compensation and auto injury claims, ensuring safe, accurate medication delivery tailored to each injury.Role Description The Director of Business Development is a full-time, hybrid role based in Harrisburg, PA. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic relationships with referral sources, payers, employers, and other partners, and expanding WIRX Pharmacy’s presence in the workers’ compensation market. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing business plans, managing the sales pipeline, overseeing lead generation activities, and guiding the negotiation of contracts and partnership agreements. The Director will collaborate closely with leadership, operations, and clinical teams to align business development initiatives with service capabilities and patient-centric outcomes. The role also includes monitoring market trends, representing WIRX at industry events, and providing regular performance reporting and forecasting.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of driving measurable growth.Strong Business Planning and strategic planning skills, including experience creating and executing go-to-market or expansion plans.Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, including structuring agreements, managing terms, and closing complex deals.Solid Account Management experience, with the ability to maintain long-term relationships and ensure partner satisfaction.Background in healthcare, pharmacy, workers’ compensation, insurance, or related industry is highly beneficial.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.Analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable with forecasting, performance metrics, and CRM tools.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel regionally as needed.
