This is a hands-on leadership role not one focused on maintaining the status quo. You'll evaluate how we operate, build scalable processes, and bring greater visibility and accountability across the organization, working closely with executive leadership to connect strategy, people, financial performance, and day-to-day execution.As part of IR Pros, Hansen is connected to a growing organization serving the industrial refrigeration market across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate combines strong business and financial acumen with operational leadership experience and knows how to turn strategy into measurable results.If you're an operations leader who enjoys building, improving, and scaling businesses — and want your work to have visible impact — we'd like to hear from you.What You'll Own· Lead the development and execution of operational strategies that support Hansen's business and growth objectives.· Partner with executive leadership to translate company goals into actionable operating plans.· Establish and monitor KPIs, budgets, forecasts, productivity measures, and operational performance metrics.· Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability and execution.· Develop scalable processes, workflows, SOPs, and accountability systems across the organization.· Work cross-functionally with operations, construction/project management, service, finance, procurement, HR, and other business functions.· Lead and mentor department leaders while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.· Evaluate organizational structure, staffing needs, and resources as the business continues to grow.· Improve communication and coordination between field operations and corporate/business functions.· Leverage technology, automation, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.· Oversee key vendor and partner relationships and support contract negotiations where appropriate.· Identify operational and financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.· Provide executive leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations regarding business performance.· Lead major operational initiatives and change-management efforts from strategy through implementation.What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a leader who understands that strong operations are about more than processes they're about people, accountability, financial performance, and execution.· 7+ years of progressive operations or business leadership experience, including responsibility for teams, budgets, and business performance.· Demonstrated experience leading managers and cross-functional organizations.· Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, margins, and operational performance.· Proven ability to identify operational challenges and implement measurable improvements.· Experience building processes and operating structures within a growing or changing organization.· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.· Executive-level communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both senior leadership and frontline teams.· Experience with ERP/business systems, operational reporting, and Microsoft Office.· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; equivalent leadership experience may also be considered.Experience That Will Set You ApartExperience in industrial refrigeration, mechanical contracting, HVAC/R, construction, cold storage, food processing, industrial services, or another field-service-driven organization is highly desirable.· Construction or project-based operations· Industrial service organizations· P&L or significant budget responsibility· Continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies· Organizational change and business transformation· ERP implementation or optimization· Spanish/English bilingual communication skills a plus, not requiredBenefits Medical, dental, vision insurance and supplemental plans401(k) retirement plan with a 4% match; current postings state eligibility within 90 days Life & accidental death (AD&D) insurance and Long term DisabilityPaid holidays & PTOCompetitive hourly compensationOvertime opportunities for service techniciansCompany-provided service truck/vehicle for eligible positionsCareer advancement pathsEmployee referral bonus
