Our strategies are supported by long-term live track records.The OpportunityR Best is seeking an experienced alternatives professional to lead our capital-development efforts.This is a capital-raising role with a clear near-term mandate. We are looking for someone with an established network of allocator relationships who can leverage those relationships immediately to generate qualified meetings and new investment opportunities.We are not looking for someone who needs to build a network from the ground up. The ideal candidate already knows the relevant allocators, understands their investment processes and can identify where R Best's strategies have a realistic opportunity to receive an allocation.Key ResponsibilitiesLeverage existing relationships across family offices, RIAs, OCIOs, consultants, endowments,funds of funds, alternative platforms and other sophisticated allocators.Generate qualified investor meetings and convert relationships into funded assets.Manage the capital-development process from introduction through due diligence and allocation.Develop strategic relationships with consultants, platforms, FCMs, brokers and other distribution partners.Represent R Best at relevant alternative-investment and institutional conferences.Work directly with senior management to refine investor positioning and identify new capitalopportunities.Ideal Candidate10+ years in institutional or alternative-investment capital development.Demonstrated ability to raise assets and develop allocator relationships.Established network of prospective investors and centers of influence.Experience in managed futures/CTAs, hedge funds, liquid alternatives, systematic strategies, capital introduction or institutional asset management.Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating in a smaller investment firm where individual results matter.Most importantly, someone who can personally open doors and generate near-term capital opportunities.What Success Looks LikeSuccess will be measured by qualified allocator engagement, progression through due diligence,funded mandates and net new assets under management.The mandate is straightforward: develop relationships that result in capital.CompensationCompensation is intentionally structured for a proven capital raiser, with meaningful, uncapped participation in the economics of assets originated and retained by the individual.The more successful you are in raising and retaining capital, the greater your economic participation.This structure rewards results rather than activity.
