Position SummaryThe Corporate Finance Director is responsible for leading the company’s corporate finance strategy and activities, supporting growth initiatives, capital allocation, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. This role partners closely with senior leadership to optimize the company’s capital structure, drive value creation, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.The Corporate Finance Director serves as a key strategic advisor to executive management, balancing financial performance, risk management, and long-term business objectives.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the CEO Spain, the Corporate Finance Director is responsible for:Lead and execute corporate financing transactions, including debt financing, refinancings, structured finance, and capital raising initiatives. Oversee mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, divestments, and strategic investment opportunities. Develop and manage the company’s capital structure, liquidity strategy, and long-term financing plans. Lead financial modeling, valuation analyses, business case assessments, and investment decision processes. Manage relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, rating agencies, and other key stakeholders. Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation decisions across the business. Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to senior management. Lead and develop the Corporate Finance team, ensuring high standards of analytical rigor, execution, and business partnership.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is a plus. Mínimum 15–20 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure funds, or a combination of these environments. Extensive experience in debt financing, project finance, M&A transactions, financial modeling, and valuation. Proven experience leading complex financing and investment transactions in international environments. Strong understanding of capital markets, financial structures, and corporate finance strategies. Experience managing relationships with lenders, investors, financial advisors, and other financial stakeholders. Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholders management skills.
