Today, we partner with artisans around the world who share our vision, creating beautiful, heirloom-quality pieces that can be used—and loved—for generations.Description:The Director of Corporate Security & Loss Prevention will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide strategies to mitigate inventory loss, internal misconduct, operational risk, and physical security vulnerabilities across Arhaus retail and corporate locations.This role integrates proactive loss prevention, internal investigations, compliance auditing, and physical security governance into a unified enterprise function.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Loss Prevention StrategyDevelop and implement company-wide shrink reduction strategyEstablish standardized store-level control protocolsAnalyze POS data for exception reporting (discounts, overrides, returns)Conduct routine and surprise operational auditsIdentify systemic vulnerabilities in process and policyInternal InvestigationsLead investigations into internal theft and misconductPartner with HR on disciplinary proceduresEstablish evidence protocolsConduct interviews and case documentationLiaise with legal counsel when appropriateDiscount & Override GovernanceAudit discretionary discount authorityIdentify misuse patternsDevelop guardrails and approval workflowsImplement manager-level accountability reportingDamage & Return OversightStandardize documentation and approval processesAudit backroom handling proceduresImplement chain-of-custody controls where neededCorporate Security OversightDevelop enterprise physical security standardsOversee access control systems and credential governanceStandardize CCTV strategy where appropriateManage security vendor relationshipsDevelop incident response protocolsReporting & Executive VisibilityProvide quarterly shrink and risk dashboardsReport trends and corrective action plansPresent findings to executive leadershipAlign prevention strategy with financial metricsRequirements:10–12+ years in retail loss prevention or corporate securityExperience in high-value retail environments preferredStrong investigative backgroundFamiliarity with POS exception reporting toolsExperience building enterprise LP programs from ground upStrong cross-functional leadership capabilityKnowledge of access control and physical security systemsArhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
