We want to meet you.Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, NE is looking for a Director of Culinary to lead our Culinary Department and Bistro—and this is much more than managing a kitchen.We’re looking for someone who can bring together great food + strong leadership + smart operations + an exceptional resident experience.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:Lead, coach, and develop a talented culinary teamOwn the day-to-day operations of the Culinary Department and BistroDrive food quality, presentation, consistency, and resident satisfactionManage food costs, inventory, expenses, and department budgetsOversee menus, dietary requirements, and our CBORD systemMaintain strong sanitation, food-safety, and regulatory standardsPartner closely with community leadership and clinical teamsBuild training programs and create a culture of accountability and teamworkBring fresh ideas to the table and make an impact across the entire communityWho are we looking for?Someone who can lead from the front. Someone who understands that food is more than a meal—it’s comfort, connection, routine, and one of the highlights of someone’s day.You’ll need:3+ years of supervisory experience in a culinary roleCertified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferredHealthcare culinary experience is preferredStrong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skillsA passion for building teams and delivering a great dining experienceAt Hillcrest, our mission is Inspiring people to live their best lives.
