Director of Data & Analytics

RAKTDA is seeking an experienced Director of Data & Analytics to lead the Authority's Data Analytics function and drive a transformation journey from traditional reporting to predictive, prescriptive and AI-enabled decision intelligence. The role will shape the future of data-driven decision making across one of the region's fastest-growing tourism destinations.We are looking for a visionary leader who can transform how an organization uses data, building a best-in-class analytics capability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping tourism strategy, influencing major investment decisions and driving sustainable growth for the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The OpportunityReporting to the VP Strategy & Insights, you will lead the development of RAKTDA's enterprise data and analytics capability, establishing the vision, operating model, technology roadmap and governance framework that will enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will build and inspire multidisciplinary teams, champion innovation and position analytics as a strategic driver of destination competitiveness and organizational performance.What You'll Be Responsible ForLeading a multi-year transformation of RAKTDA's data and analytics function and maturity journey. Building and leading high-performing teams across analytics, business intelligence, data engineering and market insights. Developing modern data platforms, predictive models, forecasting capabilities and AI-enabled analytics solutions. Establishing enterprise-wide data governance, KPI frameworks and reporting standards.Advising Executive Leadership, the Board and government stakeholders through decision-ready insights and strategic recommendations.Driving partnerships with leading data providers, technology partners and industry stakeholders to strengthen tourism intelligence across the Emirate.Who We're Looking ForWe are seeking a leader who has successfully delivered large-scale analytics transformation and modernization programmes, built high-performing teams and created measurable business impact through data.You will bring:Significant leadership experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Insights, or a related discipline. A proven track record of leading enterprise-wide data and analytics transformation initiatives.Experience modernizing organizations from traditional reporting environments to predictive, prescriptive, and AI-enabled decision-making.Strong expertise in data platforms, advanced analytics, forecasting, machine learning and data visualization. Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and government stakeholders.Experience within tourism, hospitality, aviation, economic development or other data-intensive sectors would be highly advantageous.
