The OpportunityMaydm is in the middle of a deliberate shift — from a grant-dependent nonprofit to one with a diversified revenue engine built on corporate partnership, earned income, and membership. We’re building a revenue model from a new foundation, launching an evolved corporate partnership program and standing up a new membership committee.We’re creating this role to lead that work: the Director of Development is the CEO’s second-in-command on revenue, owning grants, corporate partnership, membership, and events as one connected model — not four separate efforts.You will not inherit a development department running on autopilot. You’ll help build the engine while it’s already moving.What You’ll DoOwn Maydm’s full revenue picture end to end, co-building the annual plan directly with the CEOLead our Impact Alliance corporate partnership program — cultivating and closing named prospects across energy, financial services, manufacturing, and technologyRun our grants calendar from research through reportingLaunch and grow Young Professionals in STEM, a new membership programDesign multi-year partnership agreements and track every benefit we promise a partnerWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent professional experience)5+ years of proven fundraising success, including major-gift or six-figure corporate partnership experienceA demonstrated ability to build and sustain a professional network — and convert it into funded partnershipsGrant writing and grants management experienceComfort owning a revenue number, not just fundraising activityCompensation: $70,000–$80,000, plus a performance bonus tied to annual revenue targets.
