Team members collaborate in an environment that values innovation, quality, and practical impact.Role Description The Director of DevOps is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur, responsible for leading and scaling the company’s DevOps strategy and practices. This role oversees the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, and automated testing frameworks to support reliable, frequent software delivery. The Director will collaborate closely with software development, QA, and product teams to improve deployment processes, ensure platform stability, and enhance system performance and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting DevOps standards, mentoring and managing DevOps engineers, driving automation initiatives, monitoring production environments, and coordinating incident response and root-cause analysis. The role also involves evaluating tools and technologies, ensuring best practices in observability and configuration management, and aligning DevOps capabilities with business and product goals.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support end-to-end delivery.Candidates should possess deep expertise in Continuous Integration and Test Automation to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.Candidates should possess advanced Infrastructure skills (cloud, on-premises, networking, and security) to architect scalable, resilient, and secure environments.Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., containers and orchestration, configuration management, monitoring and logging) is highly beneficial.Demonstrated experience leading DevOps or platform engineering teams, including setting strategy, managing performance, and mentoring team members.Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement in production environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across engineering, product, and operations stakeholders.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
