Reporting to the SVP of Programs, the Director of Digital Curriculum will manage the design, development, and continuous improvement of digital learning content and curriculum products. The Director ensures digital curriculum solutions drive learner outcomes, meet market needs, and align with organizational goals. This role works with external curriculum developers and instructional designers to create engaging, standards-aligned, learner-centered educational experiences. This is a hybrid role.The ideal candidate combines expertise in curriculum design and educational technology with leadership, project management, and planning skills.Job Duties:Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the organization's digital curriculum strategy and roadmap as established by senior leadership.Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality digital learning products and programs.Monitor emerging trends in instructional design, educational technology, AI- enabled learning, and digital education to inform innovation.Establish curriculum development standards, processes, and quality assurance frameworks.Use data and learner feedback to drive continuous improvement and product enhancements.Curriculum Design & DevelopmentOversee the creation of engaging, standards-aligned digital curriculum.Ensure curriculum incorporates evidence-based learning science and instructional best practices.Guide the development of learning pathways, assessments, interactive content, multimedia assets, and instructional resources.Maintain curriculum alignment with applicable academic, industry, or professional standards.Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and universal design principles are embedded throughout curriculum development.Manage work product, project timelines, and product quality of the curriculum development team.Clearly communicate feedback, suggestions, and content ideas in a timely manner.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and accountability.Manage resource allocation and vendor relationships.Cross-Functional CollaborationConduct research and seek reference from subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.Maintain communication, project updates, and data reporting with program senior leadership and the development team.Support sales and customer-facing internal teams with curriculum expertise and product demonstrations when needed.Program and Project ManagementOversee multiple curriculum development initiatives from concept through launch and continuous improvement.Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies.Implement efficient development workflows and project governance processes.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Quality Assurance and Impact MeasurementEstablish and monitor curriculum quality metrics and learner outcome indicators.Evaluate curriculum effectiveness using assessment data, user analytics, and stakeholder feedback.Lead curriculum reviews, audits, and improvement cycles.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, learning product development, or related educational roles.Demonstrated experience leading curriculum initiatives at scale.Strong understanding of curriculum design methodologies, assessment development, and learning science principles.Experience with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and digital learning platforms.Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence senior stakeholders.Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or doctorate in Education, Learning Sciences, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.Experience developing K–12, higher education, corporate learning, workforce development, or certification programs.Experience leveraging AI and adaptive learning technologies within curriculum design.Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, Colorado Accessibility Law HB21-1110, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
