Apply & track with Apply EdgeExecutive Director – Emergency Services & Nursing OperationsThe Executive Director provides enterprise-level leadership for Emergency Services and Nursing Operations, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality care across multiple clinical locations. This position drives service-line performance, workforce engagement, regulatory readiness, financial stewardship, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.The leader partners with physicians, clinical teams, organizational leadership, and community stakeholders to strengthen access, coordination, and continuity of care. Using clinical evidence, performance metrics, and industry best practices, the Executive Director identifies opportunities to improve outcomes, streamline operations, and support long-term service-line development.Key Leadership AreasProvide overall direction for emergency and nursing operations, including clinical, administrative, financial, and strategic activities.Establish operational priorities, performance goals, staffing strategies, budgets, and resource plans.Direct department leaders and develop leadership capabilities through coaching, performance feedback, accountability, and succession planning.Maintain consistent standards of care, policies, and workflows across multiple campuses while adapting to individual service needs.Monitor patient care quality, safety indicators, staffing effectiveness, patient flow, and operational performance.Build effective partnerships with medical staff and other service-line leaders to enhance care coordination and patient access.Ensure readiness for regulatory requirements, specialty programs, and applicable trauma, stroke, and nursing standards.Analyze operational and clinical data to identify trends, address gaps, and implement sustainable improvements.Support financial performance through effective resource utilization and understanding of reimbursement and payer requirements.Champion initiatives that improve patient experience, employee safety, engagement, innovation, and care delivery.Maintain preparedness for emergencies, disasters, and organizational incident command responsibilities.Required QualificationsEducationMaster’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related healthcare/business discipline – RequiredProfessional ExperienceMinimum 5 years of progressive management experience within a hospital, outpatient, or clinical environment – RequiredProven ability to achieve measurable clinical and operational improvements.Strong capabilities in leadership, communication, team development, strategic planning, and program management.Licensure & CertificationActive Iowa RN license – RequiredCompact RN license acceptedRelevant professional certification preferred.How to Apply - email sidharth.kumar@recruiter.nlbtech.com orcall (904)-406-8303Equal Employment OpportunityNLB Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
