In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of our enterprise SaaS products, while championing the technical health, scalability, and long-term evolution of our architecture.This is a leadership role designed for an operational systems thinker who can seamlessly bridge the gap between high-level product strategy, continuous release execution, and direct talent development. You will manage globally distributed engineering teams, drive modern DevOps practices, and foster a collaborative, high-performing culture of engineering excellence. As an organization, we are actively executing our AI-First / AI-Early engineering roadmap. The ideal candidate is someone who not only understands modern cloud architecture but has a passion for building, managing, and optimizing AI-DLC workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Leadership: Provide strategic direction and operational oversight to multiple cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives.AI-DLC & Developer Productivity: Drive the strategic rollout and optimization of our Agentic Software Development Life Cycle (AI-DLC) framework. Establish guidelines for right-sizing compute, capping agentic token burn, and helping engineers safely pair with autonomous coding subagents.Quality & Accountability Standards: Champion our "Engineer-in-the-Loop" (EITL) quality gates. Enforce testing and validation frameworks to ensure that AI-assisted code is backed by comprehensive test suites and undergoes rigorous human peer review (preventing "vibe coding")Platform & Architecture: Oversee the continuous development, scaling, and architectural integrity of our high-availability cloud infrastructure and application suites.Talent Management: Directly manage, mentor, and scale engineering teams, taking ownership of career pathing, performance reviews, hiring pipelines, and technical growth.System Performance: Proactively audit system architecture, cloud-infrastructure performance, and capacity metrics to maintain top-tier uptime, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.SDLC & DevOps Excellence: Refine software development life cycle methodologies, implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, and automated testing frameworks to support continuous deployment.Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party software, framework libraries, and cloud service vendors to optimize cost, security, and performance.What We Are Looking ForProven Experience: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in engineering management or organizational leadership roles.Scale & SaaS Expertise: A strong background in building, deploying, and operating 24x7 enterprise-grade B2B SaaS platforms with strict SLAs, high-availability demands, and strong data-security standards.Technical Depth: Strong architectural and system-design capabilities, with the ability to lead deep-dive technical reviews and guide engineering teams on complex distributed-systems problems.Methodology & Execution: Expert-level understanding of Agile/Scrum processes, modern DevOps principles, and modern release-engineering frameworks.Distributed Leadership: Proven success managing, alignment-building, and scaling distributed or remote-first international engineering teams.Nice to HavesDiverse Tech Stack: Familiarity with a variety of modern enterprise technologies, databases, and major cloud providers.Integrations & Tooling: Experience overseeing RESTful API environments, third-party enterprise software integrations, or platform developer tools.Open Source: Past contributions to open-source software communities or experience implementing open-source compliance standards.Emerging Tech: Experience integrating secure, scalable AI/ML capabilities into standard application workflows.CompensationBase Salary Range: $200,000 – $230,000Bonus: 15%Final compensation packages are structured based on individual candidate factors, including specialized technical skills, qualifications, relevant experience level, and local cost of labor.Benefits & WellnessRobust Health Coverage: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans with highly competitive employer-sponsored premium contributions for both employees and their dependents.Health Savings Account (HSA) Contribution: Dedicated annual employer contributions to your HSA to help cover eligible out-of-pocket medical expensesRetirement Planning: Traditional and Roth 401(k) programs featuring an employer-matching contribution to help secure your financial future.Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): A generous, trust-based "take-what-you-need" time-off policy, alongside standard paid company holidays.Fully Paid Parental Leave: Comprehensive, fully paid parental leave for eligible new parents.Wellness & Fitness Support: Flexible wellness stipends and health programsOnboarding & CollaborationImmersive In-Person Onboarding: To set you up for long-term success, our team hosts a structured, mandatory in-person onboarding program during your first few weeks.
