The Director owns four pillars — software engineering, data, AI initiatives, and managed IT — and is the single accountable technology leader in the organization.The role exists so that executive team manages one technology relationship rather than six, and receives status proactively rather than chasing it.The organization is hiring this role to deliver four specific outcomes. These are the standing mandate, not a wish list:Consolidate data from all sources into the data lake, build curated data marts, and connect them to operational applications for real-time data and decision-making.Deploy conversational AI across front office, billing, and outbound calling workflows.Build predictive modelling and revenue cycle management (RCM) automation capability.Develop in-house software for internal workflows across HR, IT, admin, and support functions.Pillars of ownershipSoftware engineering — internal applications, integrations, and workflow tooling built in-house, led through the Lead Architect and a two-person development team.Data & database management — consolidation into the Redshift data lake, curated data marts, the Snowflake analytics layer, and reliability and performance of all production databases.AI initiatives — conversational AI, predictive modelling, and RCM automation, delivered as maintained production capability rather than one-off analyses.Managed IT — helpdesk, endpoint, identity, cloud and SaaS administration, delivered through the Manager, IT & Cloud Operations.Required qualifications10+ years of progressive technology experience, including 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams spanning development, data, and infrastructure or supportDemonstrated ownership of a technology modernization or turnaround — legacy consolidation, offshore team build-out, or department restructuringDirect experience delivering a data platform or warehouse program end to end: ingestion, modelling, and downstream consumption by applications or BIPractical AI/ML delivery experience — has shipped and maintained production machine learning, predictive models, or LLM-based systems, not only sponsored themTrack record of structured, proactive written communication to executive stakeholders; candidates will be asked to present real examplesExperience managing vendor relationships firmly and professionally, holding vendors accountable without damaging the relationshipTechnically hands-on enough to review architecture, read code and SQL, and assess technical quality independentlyPreferred qualificationsHealthcare, health-tech, or other regulated-industry experience (HIPAA or an equivalent data protection regime)Familiarity with US healthcare revenue cycle management — claims, denials, eligibility, and AR workflowsExperience with the specific stack: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, and modern integration toolingPrior experience leading a Pakistan-based team serving US business stakeholdersExperience installing governance — access control, change control, documentation standards — where none previously existedExposure to conversational AI or contact-centre automation in an operational settingApply on LinkedIn or email your CV to git+jr194@techruiters.net and share a little bit about you.
