Director of Fabrication

RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established total building solution provider to assist in hiring an experienced Director of Fabrication in La Mirada, CA.Must have experience working in a leadership position in large-scale fabrication operations. Ideal candidate will have experience with structural steel fabrication.If interested, please email CieraMayes@realrepp.com.Responsibilities IncludeOversee all aspects of the fabrication process (production planning, scheduling, QC & cost management)Develop & implement strategic plans for company-wide fabrication operationsLead & manage a team of fabrication managers, techniciansFoster a culture of safety, collaboration & continuous improvementEstablish & maintain quality assurance processesMonitor & analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with engineering, procurement & project management teams to ensure seamless integration of fabrication activitiesDrive innovation & efficiency through the adoption of new technologies, methodologies & best practicesEnsure compliance with safety, health, etc.Build & maintain strong relationshipsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Admin (preferred)10+ years fabrication management experience5+ years in senior leadership roleProven record of large-scale fabrication operations in industrial or manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Tekla PowerFab preferredStrong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials & equipmentEffective leadership & people management skillsStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsKnowledge of health, safety & environmental regulationsCompensation Package$220-300k base (range based on experience)Quarterly bonusMedical, Dental, Vision401k w/ match15 days vacation time5 days sick timeJob TypeFull-time in officeWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
