Director of Financial Reporting @ Series C Start-Up

Coda Search is partnering with a Series C start-up that is looking to hire a Director of Financial Reporting. This is a dynamic company that is revolutionizing healthcare and is looking to hire a Director of Financial Reporting who will oversee financial reporting, technical accounting and reviewing the consolidated financials. Dynamic role that will be reporting into the CFO and partner closely with the corporate accounting and FP&A teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee the consolidated financial reporting package and report findings to the executive teamReview intercompany transactions across multiple entitiesCreate and prepare quarterly board packages and materials with commentaryReview complex reconciliations and adjustmentsPrepare technical accounting memo's and train staff on new pronouncementsAssist with internal projects and lead strategic initiativesOperate as the point of contact with the annual auditorsQualifications 8+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial reporting and technical accountingPrior Big 4 experience preferredCPA requiredConsolidation experience across multiple entities is requiredExcellent communication and presentation skills
