This position oversees all food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, banquets, and in-room dining, ensuring high-quality service and consistent guest satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing menus and culinary standards, coordinating with the kitchen team, monitoring inventory and purchasing, and implementing safety and sanitation protocols. The Director will develop and manage budgets, control costs, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with other departments to support overall property goals. This role also includes recruiting, training, and coaching food and beverage staff, fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that aligns with the brand’s restorative guest experience.Qualifications Strong Food & Beverage and Food Service experience, with a track record of overseeing multi-outlet or complex operations.Proficient Culinary Skills and menu development capabilities, with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest experience.Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, including the ability to address guest feedback and continuously improve service standards.Demonstrated Budgeting and cost-control skills, including forecasting, P&L management, and revenue optimization.Previous leadership experience in food and beverage management, preferably in hospitality or travel-oriented environments.Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and experience implementing compliance procedures.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate across departments.Ability to work on-site in Asheville, NC, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Relevant education in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
