Director of FP&A

As Director of FP&A, you will be responsible for leading the bank's budgeting, forecasting, management information, cost governance, and decision-support capabilities. Working closely with the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team, you'll help establish the financial planning and analytics function that supports strategic decision-making from day one. Responsibilities• Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and strategic planning processes across the bank. • Lead the production of management reporting and Board MI, providing insight into financial performance and key business drivers. • Drive cost governance, business case challenge, and investment decision support. • Deliver scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making. • Oversee FP&A, Management Reporting, Product Control, and ALCM activities while setting standards and priorities. • Build and lead an AI-enabled planning and analytics function that scales with the growth of the bank. Requirements• 12+ years of FP&A or finance experience within banking or financial services, including leadership of finance teams. • Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cost governance, and business case analysis. • Proven experience building planning, MIS, and analytics capabilities in regulated environments. • Strong understanding of banking financial management, capital planning, and regulatory expectations. • Experience with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and AI-enabled planning and forecasting solutions. • Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or MBA are highly desirable.
