Director of Global Procurement Operations

Due to growth, my client, a leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking Director of Global Procurement Operations to join their dynamic team. This leadership role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide Source-to-Pay (S2P) strategy, procurement digital transformation, supplier lifecycle management, and operational excellence across a global organization managing approximately $2B in spend.Key ResponsibilitiesLead global Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations, governance, and procurement process strategyDrive procurement digitalization initiatives, including Ariba/SAP optimization and automationDevelop standardized global procurement frameworks, KPIs, policies, and controlsPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Quality, and Risk teamsOversee supplier onboarding, performance management, risk mitigation, and service excellenceLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user experienceManage and develop a global procurement operations team while leading large-scale change initiativesUtilize analytics and business intelligence tools to improve supplier performance and decision-makingQualifications10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership within a global manufacturing environmentDeep expertise in Source-to-Pay processes, procurement systems, governance, and digital transformationExperience implementing enterprise procurement platforms such as Ariba/SAPProven success leading global teams, large-scale programs, and cross-functional initiativesStrong analytical, financial, communication, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree required; MBA and professional certifications preferredBenefitsCompetitive compensation and bonus eligibility and full relocation assistanceMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysTuition reimbursement and wellness programsFlexible workplace options -WFH on FridayBase salary range $160-210k + 20% bonus + full relocation
