The role ensures regulatory alignment, licensing readiness, and positive public engagement to support market entry and sustainable operations. This position acts as the primary interface between the company and external institutions, safeguarding compliance while enabling business growthKey ResponsibilitiesGovernment & Regulatory AffairsBuild and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and national government authoritiesMonitor regulatory developments and advise leadership on potential business impactLead licensing procedures, permits, and regulatory approvals required for operationsRepresent the company in meetings, consultations, and public policy discussionsCompliance & Market ReadinessEnsure business operations comply with local regulatory requirementsCoordinate internally with Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to address regulatory mattersSupport market entry planning from a regulatory and stakeholder perspectiveStakeholder & Community EngagementDevelop partnerships with public institutions, industry associations, and community stakeholdersManage external communications related to public affairs and operational mattersRepresent the company in public forums, community engagement, and industry eventsCrisis & Reputation ManagementHandle sensitive external issues and coordinate responses with internal teamsSupport reputation management and proactive stakeholder communication strategiesRequirementBachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Business, or related fields (Master’s preferred)10+ years experience in public affairs, government relations, regulatory affairs, or external relationsExperience working within Côte d'lvoire regulatory environmentsStrong network within government, transport, or infrastructure sectors is highly preferedStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate in complex, multi-country regulatory environmentsFluency in English
