They work closely with employers to understand their people, identify emerging workforce needs, and develop practical programs that contribute to employee well-being and organizational success.Job SummaryThe Director of Health & Wellness will serve as a senior advisor and growth leader, helping organizations develop and execute meaningful health and wellness strategies. This highly visible, client-facing role combines health and wellness expertise, strategic consulting, relationship development, and business growth.The successful candidate will bring established relationships within the HR community and be comfortable leveraging their network to create new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue growth.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Wellness Strategy and Program DevelopmentLead the development of annual health and wellness strategies for national and large-market clients.Consult with clients to understand workforce demographics, organizational priorities, employee needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.Design practical, inclusive, and measurable wellness programs addressing areas such as physical health, mental health, prevention, resilience, and financial well-being.Develop wellness calendars, educational campaigns, workshops, webinars, and employee engagement initiatives.Help clients establish meaningful program objectives and evaluate participation, engagement, and overall program impact.Monitor workforce trends and emerging practices in employee health and well-being and incorporate relevant insights into client recommendations.Client Advisory & Relationship ManagementAct as a trusted health and wellness advisor to key client relationships.Build credibility and long-term relationships with HR professionals, senior leaders, and other organizational decision-makers.Leverage an established HR network to develop relationships and create opportunities for the organization.Translate complex health and wellness concepts into clear, relevant, and actionable recommendations.Maintain a proactive and consultative approach to client relationships, identifying opportunities to strengthen programs and expand services.Presentations, Education & Thought LeadershipDeliver engaging presentations, workshops, webinars, and educational sessions to employees, HR leaders, executives, and other stakeholders.Develop credible educational content and resources related to workplace health and wellness.Represent the organization at client events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and industry forums.Contribute to thought leadership and the continued evolution of the organization's health and wellness offering.Stay current on health, wellness, HR, benefits, and workforce trends.Business Development & Strategic PartnershipsPlay an active role in generating new business and supporting revenue growth.Leverage existing relationships within the HR community to identify and develop prospective client opportunities.Support prospective-client meetings, finalist presentations, strategic account reviews, and client renewals.Partner with the sales team to position health and wellness expertise as a differentiator in new and existing client relationships.Identify opportunities to expand health and wellness services within existing accounts.Develop relationships with HR leaders, EAP providers, wellness vendors, and other strategic partners.Contribute directly to the continued development and commercial growth of the health and wellness practice.QualificationsExperience & Certifications5+ years of relevant experience in senior HR leadership, employee assistance programs (EAP), workplace health and wellness, health consulting, or a related field.Senior HR leadership experience or client-facing EAP experience is preferred.Candidates with experience in organizations such as EAP, employee wellness, HR consulting, or workforce solutions providers are particularly relevant.Established network of HR leaders and decision-makers, with the ability to leverage those relationships to support business development.Demonstrated experience developing trusted relationships with senior organizational stakeholders.Experience contributing to business development, revenue generation, or client growth.Relevant post-secondary education or professional credentials are considered an asset.French-English bilingualism is considered an asset.SkillsExcellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Established relationship-building and networking capabilities within the HR community.Consultative and commercially minded approach.Ability to identify opportunities and convert relationships into meaningful business conversations.Ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.Strong organizational and project management skills.Comfortable balancing subject-matter expertise with business
