This individual will oversee the full home inventory lifecycle—from sourcing and delivery to placement and readiness—ensuring timely availability and efficient execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This leadership role requires strong project management, communication, and vendor coordination skills, along with a commitment to operational excellence and housing availability.Responsibilities will include:Own the set schedule end to end for every home order, publishing delivery and set timelines and managing to those dates. Evaluate home orders against occupancy demand, community needs, and market conditions, and recommend what to order and when. Coordinate alongside the project management lane against the published schedule, holding project managers and vendors to an established standard from delivery to set complete. Build and manage manufacturer and vendor relationships, including capacity planning, build slot negotiation, order sequencing, and vendor onboarding. Maintain sourcing, delivery, and set data so reporting is accurate and current. Review construction proposals, schedules, change orders, and payment applications to ensure compliance with company standards.Draft essential construction documents, including contracts and agreements, to support sourcing and acquisition efforts.Report status, forecast, and exceptions to community managers, regional managers, and executive leadership on a set cadence.Process invoices related to sourcing activities, ensuring accurate financial records.Conduct visits to assigned communities, inspect homes, and verify set quality before a home is turned over.Identify schedule risk early, escalate decisively, and resolve the delays that keep homes from reaching ready-to-sell status.Partner with sales and operations so home availability is aligned to demand.Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support departmental goals.Position Qualifications / Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Project Management, or a related field preferred.4+ years of experience in sourcing, project management, or a related role, preferably within the real estate or manufactured home industries.A track record of holding vendors and internal teams to a schedule and improving cycle time, with results you can quantify.Familiarity with construction workflows and documentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint) and data tracking tools.Strong analytical skills and fluency in Excel, with the ability to build and maintain reporting that others rely on. Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.Clear, direct communication with executives, field teams, and vendors alike.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Experience improving a process, not just running one, including change management and system implementation.
