Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole Description The Director of Hospitality is a full-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees daily hospitality operations, ensuring high standards in guest experience across food and beverage, events, and customer-facing services. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring hospitality teams, coordinating food service delivery, and maintaining service quality and safety standards. The Director of Hospitality will manage budgets, forecast revenue, and collaborate with sales and events teams to optimize occupancy, drive bookings, and support promotional initiatives. The role also involves developing and implementing service policies, monitoring performance metrics, resolving escalated guest issues, and working cross-functionally with leadership to enhance overall operational efficiency.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Food Service operations and standards, including menu coordination, service workflows, and quality control.Strong Customer Service skills, with a track record of managing guest relations and improving overall guest satisfaction.Proficiency in Budgeting and financial management, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.Hands-on experience in Event Management, including planning, coordination, and execution of small- and large-scale hospitality events.Solid Sales capabilities, with experience driving revenue through upselling, partnerships, and hospitality packages.Proven leadership and people management skills, including team development, performance management, and scheduling.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and service consistency.Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory or director-level role.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
