Benefits may include:Competitive executive compensation packageComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement plan with employer contributionsGenerous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leaveExecutive-level bonus and/or incentive opportunitiesLife and disability insuranceProfessional development and continuing education supportJob DetailsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field plus 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience; or 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience in lieu of a degreeTHRP certification, or ability to obtain within the first year of employmentStrong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft applicationsDemonstrated experience managing HRIS system implementationsSolid understanding of compensation programs, benefits administration, training & development, and core HR processes/systemsValid driver's licenseExperience in HR for a tribal entity preferred, though not requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong communicator across all levels of an organization, both written and verbalSkilled at setting performance goals and building accountability through effective motivational and performance systemsAble to translate concepts and plans into executed resultsExperienced in proactively building and sustaining HR systems that meet evolving organizational needsCapable of leading major change initiatives with urgency and clarityStrong people-developer with a strategic, service-oriented mindsetHighly organized, with strong interpersonal skillsComfortable with regular local travel and occasional out-of-state travelCore ResponsibilitiesLeading HR StrategyPartner with executive leadership on workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and succession strategyBuild and implement a comprehensive HR strategy across all operating entities, accounting for their operational differencesAdvise executive leadership on HR trends, risks, and opportunitiesTrack and report HR metrics and dashboards to support data-driven decisionsDriving Talent AcquisitionOversee all recruitment, including executive-level and physician/provider recruitment for clinic operationsManage relationships and contracts with outside staffing partners, including temp staffing and locum servicesAlign staffing strategy with both immediate operational needs and long-term workforce planningOwning Compensation & BenefitsDesign and maintain competitive salary structures using market dataAnalyze compensation/benefit trends and recommend competitive base and incentive programsPartner with the Benefits Committee to manage cost-effective benefit plans and monitor the market for savings opportunitiesEnsure ongoing compliance with benefit plan agreements and reporting requirementsMaintain required HIPAA certificationManaging Employee Relations & PerformanceLead employee relations efforts: performance management, disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance resolutionSupport directors and managers on discipline, terminations, and conflict resolutionEnsure corrective actions and terminations follow policy and legal requirementsCoach and counsel leaders to build accountability and strong management practicesOversee the performance review process for fairness, equity, and complianceEnsuring Compliance & Managing RiskDevelop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbooks; advise leadership accordinglyEnsure compliance with employment law, benefit agreements, and industry best practicesWork with legal counsel on employee relations, investigations, and compliance mattersUphold confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and wage & hour law adherenceRepresent the organization in personnel-related hearings and regulatory proceedingsBuilding Learning & Organizational EffectivenessDesign and oversee training/development programs supporting compliance, leadership growth, and succession planningFoster a culture of continuous improvement and professional developmentRunning HR OperationsOptimize and maintain HRIS systems to meet reporting and data needsPrepare HR reports, analyses, and RFPsInvestigate workplace accidents and manage related Workers' Compensation reportingBuild and manage the annual HR operating budgetLead, supervise, and schedule HR staff to ensure full operational coveragePerform other duties as assignedInterested in hearing more?
