IT Director – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralLocation: Philadelphia, PA or San Francisco Bay AreaEmployment Type: Full-Time - on-site/hybridThe OpportunityA growing food and beverage manufacturer is looking for an experienced IT Director to take ownership of its technology function and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.The business has continued to grow across multiple locations and is looking for someone who can take a strategic view of IT while remaining close enough to the systems and operations to drive meaningful improvements.This is a broad leadership role covering Business Central, infrastructure, cybersecurity, integrations, reporting and overall IT strategy.ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop the company's overall IT strategy and technology roadmapTake senior ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environmentLead BC upgrades, enhancements, integrations and optimisation projectsWork closely with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations to improve systems and processesManage internal IT resources and relationships with Microsoft partners and third-party vendorsOversee infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure and cloud technologiesLead cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity initiativesManage integrations across EDI, manufacturing, warehouse and other third-party systemsImprove reporting and analytics capabilities using Business Central and Power BIOversee IT budgets, licensing, vendor contracts and technology investmentsLead technology projects across multiple manufacturing and distribution locationsEnsure the IT environment can scale effectively as the company continues to growExperience Required7+ years of progressive IT experience with previous leadership or management responsibilityStrong experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business CentralExperience within food and beverage, manufacturing, distribution or a similar environmentStrong understanding of ERP processes across Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, Purchasing and Supply ChainExperience leading ERP implementations, upgrades or optimisation projectsStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and wider Microsoft technologiesExperience overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity and business continuityStrong vendor, project and stakeholder management experienceNice to HaveBusiness Central SaaS migration or upgrade experiencePower BI and Power Platform experienceKnowledge of SQL, APIs and system integrationsEDI experienceWMS, MES or shop floor systems experienceFood and beverage manufacturing experience including lot tracking and traceabilityExperience supporting multiple facilitiesWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the technology function within a growing organisation where IT and Business Central are central to day-to-day operations.The successful candidate will have significant autonomy over the technology roadmap, work directly with senior leadership and have the opportunity to shape how the company's systems develop as the business continues to scale.For more information or a confidential conversation about the opportunity, please apply or get in touch.
